- I have been doing a lot of worldbuilding over the past few months and am going to create the narrative of this game around events within the world of Terraheim. this game jam submission will be the first of those games. I have started working on the player controller. during this process of getting the movements right, the party will be on screen. once the movement is finished I will start on a character swap function so the player can be the whole party swapping characters when needed.
- the Wizard's attack will ignore armor but he is the most vulnerable(take 2x damage)
- the Ranger has a ranged attack with the bow but arrows can't penetrate armor very well. (takes x1 damage - armor)
- the Berserker can deal tremendous damage up close though it needs to penetrate armor also has no armor. (take x1 damage)
- the knight deals normal damage but is heavily armored (take x0.5 damage).
